Question: What is the last day to register online?
Answer – Relay: Online registration via RunSignUp closes on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 11:59 PM. An online registration fee applies.
Answer – 8K: Online registration via Runsignup closes on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:59 PM. An online registration fee applies.

Question: Is there same day registration?
Answer – Relay: No
Answer – 8K: Yes. 8k runners may sign up race day for $55, we accept cash, credit cards or debit cards.

Question: Can I register on Saturday for the Sunday Race?
Answer – Relay: No, not for the relay!
Answer – 8k: Yes, runners may sign up for the race on Saturday, 6/2 (at A Runner’s Circle) or Sunday 6/3 (onsite) for a fee of $55. We accept cash, credit cards or debit cards.

Question: Can I purchase an extra short sleeve t-shirt?
Answer – Relay & 8K: Yes, On event weekend, inquire at sales booth. Yes, on Runsigup store after the event.

Question: Are the races chip timed?
Answer – Relay & 8K: Yes, there is a chip attached to each baton for the relay on each bib for the 8K race.

Question: Where/when do I pick-up my packet?
Answer – Relay & 8K: Race packets (race bib/ timing chip, participant shirt, goodie bag) will be available for pick-up on Friday, June 1st from 3 PM – 7 PM. and Saturday June 2nd from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM at A Runner’s Circle – Los Feliz. 3216 Los Feliz Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90039. There is only 1 race packet per team.

Question: Do you have a race day packet pick-up?
Answer – Relay & 8K: Yes, however we strongly discourage it. If you will be picking up on race day then we recommend you arrive on-site before 6:00 AM to avoid large crowds and long lines. Please plan to pick-up your packet no later than 30 minutes before the start of the race to avoid any delay.

Question: Who can pick up the team race packet/goodie bag ?
Answer – Relay: To ensure a registered participant receives event information and race materials (bib and souvenir t-shirt), only a person listed as a runner for the team can pick up. This will preferably be the Team Captain, but if they cannot, then any other designated runner on the team can pick up. Please bring a photo ID. No ID, no packet pick-up.
Answer – 8K – Someone else can pick up your packet if they present a photo copy of your ID along with a note and your signature stating it’s OK for the person to pick-up for you.

Question: Is there an address I can use for the start/finish line?
Answer – Relay & 8K: There is no physical address for the site. Nearest address is for the ranger station: 4730 Crystal Springs Drive, 90027 Look for race day signs directing you to the event.

Question: Will there be refreshments at the finish line?
Answer – Relay & 8K: Yes, there will be plenty of refreshments for all registered participants (don’t lose your race bib).

Question: My team won our division last year how do I redeem my free entry?
Answer – Relay: Congratulations! The winning team captain would email gptrailrelay@gmail.com, we would then verify if you are indeed eligible. If you are eligible then a comp code will be emailed to you. When redeeming the following rules apply, 1) at least 3/5 ths of the wining team must return and one of those runners should be the captain. 2) You must register with the same team name and under the same division as the year in which you won and 3) you must register before online registration closes.

Question: Can I barbecue at Old Zoo?
Answer – No, unfortunately you are allowed to barbecue at Old Zoo however you are allowed to barbecue in the picnic area between the parking lots and Old Zoo.
